How Bail Bonds Work
Posting Bail when defendant is in holding
The defendant must be booked into the correctional facilities booking system with all charging information. The 10% fee is due with a form of security such as car title, credit card, Home or even a promissory note. We can meet you in the office or at the holding facility even at your home, which ever is most convenient for the indemnitor or cosigner.
Posting Bail on warrants
Don’t wait until you get booked!! Give us a call and we can post a bond to the court on your warrant as long as it is a bondable amount. Come see us and bail yourself out just for being responsible and taking care of it.
Out of custody Bonds
Sometimes when you show up to your initial appearance in court the judge will ask for a bond. At this time you should ask for a temporary release or better yet have an arrangement set up with your bondsman so that they are either in court with you or on standby to show up at court with your bond.
Clearing warrant on Forfeited Bonds
Just because you made the mistake of missing your court date for what ever reason doesn’t mean that you have to be concerned about taking care of it. There are many ways to do this. First call your bonding company this shows that you are taking responsibility. Many courts have some type of walk in calendar to quash your warrant for a very minimal fee. If not your attorney can normally get you rescheduled. If none of that is possible than you should allow your bonding company to book you and re-bond you out.
